We are here in the Blue Mountains to support all Caminos in Spain and we are excited and willing to share the wonderful spirit of the Camino that so many of us call - life changing, wonderful and amazing.
We try to emulate the Camino  spirit and camaraderie through regular Camino Meet-ups, dinners, movie nights and self-guided training walks from a few hours up to 5 days in our stunning Blue Mountains.
Stories and information are shared to help those who dream of walking, Pilgrims who have walked as well as to the curious and just wanting to know more; to understand the power and the healing that can be derived from this ancient pilgrimage.  Buen Camino
Join us at our regular Camino Meet-ups held the 4th Saturday of most months 4.00-6.00pm at our base in beautiful Blackheath.  Come along to learn, listen, share, give back and get involved.
Meet new people, make new friends.  EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!

24 November - Camino Meet-up and Walk before
30 November - Camino End of the Year Dinner
Join our 'MYSTERY WALK' in Blackheath:
Saturday 24 November, meet 11.00am at Glenella

It's nearly the end of the year so for our last organised walk for 2018 we had proposed a longer walk to set us up for a great 2019, but it might have left us short of time. However, still come join us on Saturday 24 November at Glenella Guesthouse - meeting at 11.00am for 11.15am start.  So where is it?  Well, it's a mystery walk so we're not telling!  But there will be steps, rough tracks as well as paths so bring sturdy shoes, a hat, plenty of water, food (as there's none where we're going) and rain gear if its forecast.  The walk distance is around 8-9kms and approx 3.30-4.00hrs duration.  There is an option to cut short the walk if you are time-poor and need to cut the walk short.  Oh, and put on sun block and insect repellant too, plus a light jumper if the weather suggests it, just in case!

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, the more the merrier.  It would be nice, for planning purposes if you could email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. if you'd like to come along.

And afterwards we'll relax over a cuppa at Glenella at 4.00pm for our regular Camino Meetup.

5 Day Camino style training walk - completed!
A big thank you to all the walkers who participated in our 5 day Camino style training walk held 25-29 September 2018.  It was a great adventure with several people completing the whole 5 days and many coming for just some of the time.  Day 1 from Penrith saw 11 walkers start which increased after lunch to 14 walkers.  By Saturday Day 5,  we had 'lost' a few due to other commitments, AFL GF! or blisters, however we gained new walkers and  a total of 18 walked from Katoomba to Blackheath and onto Glenella Guesthouse with others joining in for the Camino Meet-up at 4pm.  It was a successful 5 day walk, and we are seeking feedback for improvements/changes to the route for the next 5 Day Camino Style Training Walk, hopefully in 2019!
Big thank you to everyone who participated and those involved in the mapping, planning and organising of the training walk, especially to Sue Rauchfuss from the Blue Mountains Supporters of the Camino group for her tireless organisation.  Also heartfelt thanks to all of our 'albergue' and dinner hosts.
